These days couples are looking for ways to incorporate their unique personalities into their weddings, and we think Thea and Lalo found a great way to do just that.  Pictures that you can look back on in fifty years and remember not only the day you got married but just what kind of people you both were mean so much.

Thea and Lalo had their ceremony on a beach in Tofino and then a casual reception at a botanical garden.  Thea said that she wanted a dress she could move around in, but we never thought that she meant she was going to go skateboarding in it!  This makes us wonder if we haven’t been marketing our dresses properly.  Should we be mentioning that short dresses are easier to bike in while sleeveless dresses are better for tennis?  Food for thought.

Thea says “I worked really hard to make all the elements of my wedding as local, sustainable, and eco-friendly as possible, so knowing that I got a beautiful dress that covered all these things was such a blessing!” Thanks Thea! Hopefully lots of brides will follow in your footsteps and think sustainably when it comes to planning their weddings.
