Silk Organza

This sheer fabric is made of true raw silk, which is reeled silk which still has all its gum.  This makes a sturdy though almost completely transparent fabric. It has a stiff and crisp due to this silk gum.

Silk Tissue

This particular fabric is exceptionally shiny because it is woven from reeled silk tussah, which is very rare. It is surprisingly durable for such a lightweight silk. It is stiff and feels like tissue paper but it is stronger than most silks. It is perfect for garments with a lot of body and sculptural attributes.  This fabric is woven on antique looms in a small mill in India.
